2017 will be bringing in new challenges. We need to be able to know which things are of God and what is not of God. Many times Christians feel like there's a change that is needed in their life. Many times Christians are looking forward to something new. As we go into 2017 look forward to God bringing you onto new paths and direction but remember to wait on Him for guidance. An exciting life is ahead for you in 2017!

One night, some 2,000 years ago, God gave Joy to the world. The old familiar song goies on to say, 'Let earth receive her King" However, the transaction of giving is in two parts: first there's the initial act of giving; then, there's the act of receiving what was given. God gave us His Son, therefore, there is no more for God to do. But, have we all received the Gift that God gave us...have we REALLY received the Gift that God gave us?

Having close relationships with people doesn't just happen. It takes commitment from both parties to invest time into making the relationship work, so it is with God. To have a close walk with Him requires us to put forth some effort. God has done His part. God wants a real relationship with us, do you want the same?

Did you ever see a photographer distract a baby by showing a shiny thing to get the baby's attention? Well, as adults, shiny things can also come into our lives. When these shiny things occur we must be able to tell if these "objects" are good or evil. These shiny things can be in the form of opportunities, things we've been praying for, or people that come into our lives. How do we know what's good or bad for us? God has given us the tools. This message is important for us in today's world.

A lot happens in life and we wonder why things don't go the way we would like them to. Wickedness runs rampant around us and even seems to be overlooked. This brings about frustration and at times, it's easy to feel like God is nowhere to be found. We must remember that the same way God was in control of creating the universe that He is indeed in control today. His ways are not our ways so we must trust that everything is going according to God's plan, no matter how difficult it might be.

You know how hard it is hear someone in a real busy and noisy place. Well how can you hear God if your life is too noisy and busy? We need to learn how to be still and know who God is in order to really, really hear Him. This is so critical especially today with so many false doctrines about, and the need for direction in our lives. This message is spiritual meat so I hope you're ready for a good meal!

What do you do when God starts talking to you and is giving you direction for your life (first of all, do your REALLY believe God can talk to you?) You have to be so careful to whom you listen. There is so much deception in the world...outside and within the church. If this is the case, then how do we know what voice to follow? The Word of God is clear and give us lots of direction. The enemy tries to sow fear into our lives which manifests as stress and anxiety. So the question really is where are you?

When we have faith, which is strong belief in something, it means that we have an unyielding focus, a fixation on, and confidence in what our faith will bring to pass. When God calls it can be a life changing experience. We are Christians, and attend church, because at some point in our lives God called and we answered. Even though we were called to Jesus and we accepted Him as Lord and Saviour, God might be still calling you. The question can be, when God calls, do we come willingly or unwillingly? The bible speaks of those that came willingly, and those who didn't come quite so willingly. Another question is, how does this apply to you in today's world. We all know Psalm 46:10, "Be still and know that I am God", but how do you "be still"? Why is being still before God important? As a child of God it is critical that we learn how to develop a deep relationship with God and how to dwell in His presence. Here is a deep spiritual message that you need to hear.

Most Christians want to hear from God. But the truth is you're not going to hear from God unless you really, really want to hear from Him. In today's world it's not an option, it's a necessity. God won't tell you about His plans for your life if He knows you'll want to debate it. God won't tell you what He put you on earth to do if all you're going to say is "let me think about it. If you want to hear from God then don't miss this powerful message!

Burdens, cares, fear, and sorrow upon the Christia can deprive you of the joy and excitement of daily life, and can rob you of the courage to do things that have to be done. A good word from God,applied to your life by faith will lighten your heart and give you joy in doing what has to what has to be done in life...whatever that might be. Having a heavy heart in any aspect of your life is being in bondage, it's like being in prison. BUT if you know the Lord, you have been set free!!! So, you need to realize right now YOU ARE FREE!!!
