Life can be hard sometimes. It can present challenges that lead to discouragement that is often hard to overcome. Sometimes we wonder if we are going in the right direction, and wonder why things just don't work out for us. Sometimes it feels like discouragement and disappointment is a major part of life, and is greater than the joys in life. Well, as usual, God and His Word have the remedy for discouragement that often pops into our lives. This message could set you free, don't miss it!

"Not everyone who says to Me, Lord, Lord, shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of my Father in heaven." Matthew 7:21. This is the only way. Not the will of men, not the will of our families or friends, not our own will, but God's will. We learn from the above scripture, that we don't go to heaven by doing the will of men, or by doing what we think is right. The only way we can go to heaven is by doing the will of the Father, and His will is found right in our Bibles. Do we really know what the will of the Father is? This is too important a matter to assume that we do know, or to take someone else's word for it. Do we really know what the Bible says ABOUT DOING GOD’S WILL? How do we remember God's Words? These are important questions and this message has the answers, don't miss it.

Do you dare to imagine that what God has promised, and what you've prayed for will come to pass? Should we, as Christians, use our imagination? Some will likely say that we shouldn't, especially if you associate the imagination with the occult, delusion, or fancy and make believe. If you have a new car and something goes wrong with it, who do you consult...the manufacturer or anybody that you can find on the street? The manufacturer has a manual that tells you how to repair the car. Well, when God speak to you and tells you what to do, who do you believe God or man? God may be giving you a mission, a task, a journey before you to act on. How do you respond? Do you do what God is telling you or do you hesitate because of insecurities, or believe man for not doing what God is telling you? God is the "manufacturer" and has a manual for life that will show you the way, but who do you believe?

How much do you think a bottle of water weighs? if you held a bottle of water out at arm's length how long do you think you could hold it up?- The absolute weight doesn’t matter. It depends on how long you try to hold it. If you hold it for a minute, that’s not a problem. If you hold it for an hour, you'll have an ache in your arm. In each case, it’s the same weight, but the longer you hold it the heavier it becomes. It becomes a burden, and that’s the way it is with stress, anxiety and worry. If we carry our burdens all the time, sooner or later, as the burden becomes increasingly heavy, we won’t be able to carry on. As with the bottle of water, you have to put it down. So, by the time you finish this sermon I hope you'll be able to put whatever burden you have down. Don’t carry it any longer!

We’ve all heard that change is good. We’ve all heard the expression “the only thing constant is change”. Change is sure to happen. But as often as we hear it, we still struggle with it. Why? Because most of us hate change. It upends our comfort levels, leaving us insecure and afraid. It challenges our expectations, our routines, our understanding of the world and how we live in it. But there is one who doesn’t change, who walks with us in every season of life—no matter how easy or difficult. Here are 7 Scripture verses affirming the Lord’s steadfast walk with us. As we continue on to Resurrection Sunday, which is next week, we study God's Word to see His plan unfold. Today we look at Jesus' path towards His date in fulfilling prophecy by way of the Cross. You may recall that after His baptism by John the Baptist and the temptation in the wilderness, Jesus' ministry began. He performed miracles and His words were like none other for the religious establishment of the time All that was unfolding was part of God's plan on the way the Cross.

FAITH IS MORE THAN POSITIVE THINKING. POSITIVE THINKING WILL NOT PRODUCE FAITH. FAITH IS TRUST IN GOD, AND THE ONLY WAY TO DEVELOP FAITH IS TO LEARN TO KNOW GOD. SINCE HE IS TOTALLY TRUSTWORTHY, AS WE LEARN TO KNOW HIM, WE LEARN TO TRUST HIM. FAITH IS TRUSTING GOD WHEN THINGS DON'T TURN OUT THE WAY WE EXPECT. YHIS MESSAGE COULD CHANGE YOUR FAITH LIFE, DON'T MISS IT.

God does not want us to be "grounded" to this world to the point that we cannot focus on the heavenly things of His Kingdom. On the other hand, the devil wants you to be grounded so that he can keep you worried, sick, and feeling that you will not succeed in whatever you are praying for. This is a strategy of the enemy to keep you from being victorious in life and to keep you feeling totally miserable. Once you understand this strategy you will be able to overcome it and be what God wants you to be...free! Listen to this message to find out how!

How do you wait on God when you've prayed for something or have a need in life? It often feels urgent, but how do you wait, what do you do to ease the anxiety of waiting? Here in Oregon we live in the Willamette Valley which provides a fairly moderate climate, and a booming agricultural industry. In the natural, or physical, realm, living in a valley can be quite pleasant. However, when we are living in a spiritual valley it is not so pleasant because it is associated with those times when we are struggling with a problem or looking for answers to a difficult situation. It is not God's will for us to live a miserable existence in a spiritual valley and His Word provides plenty of insights in dealing with the spiritual valleys that we all experience from time to time. Don't miss this message, it will help you deal with your valleys.

With so many "voices" in the world today, we need discernment. With so many "voices" in our personal worlds today, we need discernment. There are so many voices trying to advise us on what to do, and so many voices trying to advise on what NOT to do. We need discernment to be able to tell us which path to follow.
