God calls for us to put Him first in all that we do. In order to do this, we must fill our lives with the things God wants us to focus on. This can only be accomplished by removing distractions. One thing that distracts us from focusing on God, is getting ourselves involved in other people's problems, when He hasn't directed us to do so.

God clearly does not want us to worry, but that doesn't mean He wants us to be lazy either. He doesn't want us to cast our cares so much on Him that we feel no responsibility for any actions that might be required on our part. God is concerned about our situations, but He wants to partner with us to bring positive change and success into our lives. Come to know your responsibility before you cast your cares on Him.

When God delivers us from situations, making us victorious, it can be difficult to understand why we get hit with another challenge right after victory. As you overcome challenge after challenge, the enemy will increase his attacks against you. Christian leadership is not giving in to these challenges but rising to the occasion and claiming victory. But we first must adopt a leadership mentality in Christ, so we can take the next step into having a deeper walk with God.

Do you have faith in God? Most Christians will say they do. Do you have trust in God? Again, most Christians will say they do. Aren't faith and trust in God the same? Well, they aren't. You need to hear this message to be sure if he have faith and trust in God.

Think about what you're thinking about. Have you ever taken an inventory of your thought life? It could prove to be a valuable exercise. What kind of thoughts does your mind cultivate? Positive minds produce positive lives. Negative minds produce negative lives. Positive thoughts are always full of faith and hope. Negative thoughts are always full of fear and doubt. Each and every day you have a choice to make...choose to be positive. Find out how to win the war that is in your mind.

How do you worship God? By attending church regularly, by giving to the church generously? Well, worshiping God goes far beyond and much deeper than that. You'd be surprised how you might be missing what God wants from us, and why you might not be fully enjoying life. It could be because you are unaware of God's view on worship. How should we worship God? Listen to this message to find out...it might change your life.

We have all heard children say, when on a long trip, "Are we there yet?" We, as adults, have been on long journey and wondered to ourselves..."Gee whiz, are we there yet?" Getting to "there" for a Christian can mean many things, whether we are talking about physical locations or spiritual states of being. When we are where God wants us to be, God will be glorified through us and blessings will abound. This message will help you consider if you are "there".

It is very fitting that on Father's Day that we remember our heavenly Father. If our earthly fathers are so willing to do so much for us how much more is our heavenly Father willing to do for us...including taking away our burdens. He wants to take them from you, however, we must be willing do give Him our burdens. Don't miss this important message for you!

It is one thing to dream, but it is an entirely different thing to see your dream become a reality. God gives us dreams in order that we may know and see hope for our future. Dreams also become fuel to keep us moving forward, even when we don't see anything happening or when things seem to be working against that dream. But the question is are you bold enough to dream?

Constantly overcoming trials in life builds confidence that you can face anything the enemy sends your way. While confidence is good, it's important to make sure you let God be in control of your life. Are you decreasing so that He may increase in your life?

Have you ever tried to drive your car with the handbrake on? How did the car feel or operate? Did the car move sluggishly and didn't feel right? When you realized the brake was on you took an action...you released the handbrake and the car drove more smoothly. As there are car handbrakes in the physical world there can be handbrakes in your spiritual world. These handbrakes can impede your spiritual development in Christ Jesus or hinder answered prayer. This is an area in a Christian's life that often goes unnoticed...don't miss this message.

There is a spiritual reality around us that we are often not aware of. Sometimes the enemy has so clouded our vision that we need God to break in with light - to open our eyes and remove the blindness so we can see and get in line with God's will for our lives. Don't miss out on what God has in store for you simply because you can't see it.

With all the different ways to get access to information, it can be difficult to separate the truth from a lie. The enemy will try many different ways to deceive you the same way he deceived Eve in the Garden of Eden. Knowing and speaking God's word is the only way to defeat that spirit of deception.

As we move forward to see God's plan unfold, we see the beginning of God's Salvation Plan. This week we look at Jesus' path towards his date to fufill prophecy on his way to the cross...to save you and me. God's plan was going to unfold, as the events leading to the cross were prophesied!

Have you ever faced a tough decision that you didn't know how to pray about? Have you found yourself confronting a nagging issue you want to deal with but felt like you didn't have a clue where to begin in prayer? Praying in the midst of confusion can become an opportunity to draw near to God and deepen your relationship with Him. We Christians know about the spirit of fear, and how to rebuke it when it tries to enter into our lives. However, many times we don't realize that it can enter into our lives in a very gradual way. Moreover, fear can be a vicious cycle that can be broken if we are aware of what is going on. Here's a message that can shed some light on what might be happening in your life.

One of the most effective words in the English language is the word "No". The word No can change the course of one's life and your walk with Jesus Christ. In today's world, if you don't agree with someone or some group's thinking or belief, you are considered "out of step", irrational, or worse. It doesn't matter if you're dealing with politics, lifestyle, or any other "popular" way of thinking. If you don't agree with the masses, people are shunned, unfriended on Facebook, and even family members turn away. They want you to always be in agreement and say "Yes". The good news is that we as Christians don't always have to be in agreement, especially if the agreement is contrary to the Word of God. We have to be bold enough to stick to our commitment to God and stand firm. Today's message addresses this timely issue for us Christians in today's world.

Many times when we are faced with challenges, we focus too much on what we think the tasks might be in order to be successful. Just thinking about these tasks can make the challenge seem insurmountable which then leads to disappointment by believing we will fail. We must recognize that we will be victorious if we look to God, surround ourselves with the right people, and have faith that God is mightier than our problems.

We've all noticed that the quality of cell phone reception can vary widely,. You can find yourself walking and movign to get the best reception when on a phone call. The same is true with us when trying to hear from God. We must be positioned correctly in order to hear God speak. Sometimes we never give God a chance to talk to us. We've made up our minds. We want to do what we want to do, not what God wants us to do. Our hearts become hardened, and we're unwilling to listen. But if you really want to hear from God - and what believer doesn't - you have to understand what might be keeping you from hearing God. Your cirucuits might be too busy.

So many times we pray for an opportunity,or something we need in life such as a job, house, or even companionship. Then we ask God to open a door of opportunity for us. Then the opportunity, or answer, or door is opened to us...what do we do? Is this really God's answer or opportunity? Just because an opportunity presents itself, and it looks appealing, doesn't necessarily mean it is from God. And likewise, just because an open door looks a little uncertain, doesn't mean you shouldn't walk through it. The key is knowing how to discern if an opportunity is really an open door from God. You need to hear this, don't miss it.
