As we have been going through this series on discipleship, we have seen that Jesus was not one to sugar coat the reality of being his follower. He is also very clear when it come to the fact that many people will be deceived in this life. We have natural tendency to flock to those who could be considered false prophets. We see people that are popular and speak for God. Maybe they claim to do great and amazing things for God as well like heal the sick, speak in tongues or have direct words or revelation from God. Yet, this week we have learned that some people who do all of these things will be denied entrance into heaven and Jesus will deny ever knowing them. If this is true how can we be sure not to be deceived like these false prophets?
