With the advancements of technology we have become impatient and expect immediate results, instant gratification. The young person graduating from college enters the work world with the misunderstanding that they will be in the same comfortable situation that they grow up in. They do not expect the long hours, being at the bottom of the “corporate food chain” and the hard work it takes to reach their vision and goals. . No matter your age or generation, we have all become the same. We see a direction in life and expect to be there as soon as possible. We believe that God has given us a vision and begin to kick the doors open to get in done. Is this the biblical model of following after God’s heart? Is this how we should pursue the will of God in our lives?
