We all have our "Red Seas". We all have had a not so good place that we've come from as far as the old life is concerned. When we were living the old life, we were struggling, and at some point we called out to God for help. God heard us, and as we invited Jesus into our lives, we were set free. However, the enemy doesn't like losing us from the old sinful life, and he wants to bring us back if he can. He takes every opportunity through doubt and fear to bring us back to the old life, but God is greater and the same way God delivered and set Israel free, God has delivered and set us free. Phillipians Chapter 4 contains some of the best "de-stressing" verses in the bible. It teaches us how to deal with the everyday things of life that stress us out and extinguish our joy in life. For this sermon, I'm calling these stress factors "buzzkills". We all know what buzzkills are...anything or anyone that can bring you down or steal your joy. Many times buzzkills aren't easily noticed, so listen to this message to see what buzzkills might exist in your life. God is doing a new thing in many of our lives, and we should standby with anticipated joy what is in store for us in 2020. God is the Source! While on this journey, we need to remember that Jesus is the Vine and we are the branches, and we must remain in Him in order to carry on and gain strength as challenges present themselves in 2020. God is faithful and He will be with you on this journey... just wait and see!

It has been prophesied that many would be going on journeys in 2020. Some journeys will be physical journeys with people moving, and some journeys will be spiritual in terms of spiritual growth and knowledge. However, before going on any journey there has to be preparation. Thank God, the bible is full of scripture on planning and preparation, so we need to get as much insight as possible from the Lord so we'll be prepared for what 2020 has to bring.

In ancient biblical times, the birth of Messiah, The Anointed One, The Savior, was looked upon with much anticipation and expectation. Then God gave mankind The Gift - the gift that keeps on giving even until today in the 21st Century. And since this is Christmas season, let us focus on why Jesus came in the first place, and what The Gift can do in your life today.

What do you need the Lord to do for you? Do you need the Lord to heal you? How about prosperity? Could you use more money? The truth is, you don't need the Lord to do anything for you. He's already done His part. You already have it....whatever "it" is!

Many Christians "recognize the moment", but many don't. What is this "moment"? The moment is when you have a challenge before you, and you have to decide what to do...go to God or run from the problem? Go to God or try to fix the problem yourself without God? That is the "moment", and you must decide what you want to do. That "moment" can be in a split-second or the moment could span a longer period of time. What are these moments that can come into your life? Listen to this message that just might change your life in a very positive way.

We often times take the little things we have for granted, and don’t appreciate them as much as we should. Instead, we should look at these little things as a series of miracles given to us by God.

I've heard many people say that the Lord told them to go and do "something". However, they start questioning God because they can't see how they could accomplish what God is telling them to do. They want God to show them how the steps are going to unfold BEFORE they take the first step. That's not how it works. God won't show you the next steps until you take the first step and go "there". What and where is this "there"? It depends on you and what God has in store in for you. Just know that the "there" is a place of blessing and provision for you! So, where is your "there"?

There is something amazing about our lives with God. God not only brings comfort, joy, peace, and many other beautiful gifts, but He also gives surprises. God often uses the gift of surprise to elevate our lives in some way. The surprises of God cultivate what we did not have before the surprise. When we receive a surprise from God, it mirrors His faithfulness. And every day that the surprise is in our life, whether a job opportunity, relationship or financial breakthrough, it mirrors God's love for us and how He intends to give you a victory where it is much needed. This is revelation that you need to hear...don't miss it!

In order to obtain the blessings God has in store for us, it is required that we are ready to fight against the forces of darkness. We must also remember that we have the authority “over all the power of the enemy” (Luke 10:19).

Sometimes we never give God a chance to talk to us. We've often made up our minds to do what we want to do, not what God wants us to do. Sometimes we are too busy too listen for God. But, if you really want to hear from God - and what believer doesn't - you have to understand what is keeping you from hearing God. Are you focusing on the wrong things in life? Or are just too busy to hear God? It is so important that we be able to hear God. Don't miss this message that might open the door to unimaginable victory through hearing from God.

Are you aware of the fact that you have the ability to determine what you will think? At any given time, you can refocus your mind to think on a new topic instead of focusing on that negative thought that will steal your peace. Did you realize that thoughts can steal your peace? The same way God is in charge of the physical seasons of the earth, God is in charge of, and has planned, the seasons of our lives with infinite wisdom. He has ordained each season, knowing exactly what fruit is to be harvested during each time frame of our lives. Why are we so quick to resist the season we are in? God knows His good thoughts and plans He has for us, but we forget that He loves and cares for us. So, how do we make it when we are going from "season" to "season"? What things should we remember? Well, what does God's word tell us? Listen in and find out how to live through your life's seasons.

Having faith is more than just believing in God and His awesome power. Having faith means believing AND acting as though the victory has already occurred. We must believe and take appropriate action at the same time in order to activate true faith.

What we think, will be made evident in our outward actions. This means that our thoughts are nothing to be taken for granted. Our thoughts hold the power to determine our attitudes and our tomorrows. Fortunately, we get to choose what our tomorrows look like, one thought and one day at a time. Change your thoughts, and you change your world. True positive attitudes and joy do not come from a problem-free life, it comes from the choice to change your thoughts. Don't miss this important message that could very well change your life.

The human eye has a blind spot that doesn't have photoreceptors that allow us to perceive light or images that are later interpreted by the brain. We usually are not aware of this blind spot because our brain fills in the blank area with the surrounding images to make our vision field seem seamless. Spiritually speaking, we also have blind spots that prevent us from seeing and understanding deep spiritual truths. A spiritual blind spot is our inability to see and understand a God-based spiritual reality, even though it's right there in front of us. This can impact how we see others and ourselves, and can hinder God's working in your life. You need to know what these blind spots are to ensure that you are not missing out on God's blessings.

The same way God set Israel free, God has set you free. But the problem is that you can often forget that you are free. To further complicate the matter, forgetting that you are free can become a habit! If you have already allowed the habit of forgetting you are free to set in, then you are allowing worry, anxiety, doubt and other bad habits to rob you of your God-given freedom. Listen to this message to understand what needs to be done to stay free!

The same way you believe the Truth that God is God, and the sun still shines even when it's cloudy, you must recognize the Truth that pertains to Holy Spirit. That Truth and reality is that God wants us to know and walk in the Spirit. Life in the Spirit is a journey, and while there are many great scriptures that discuss the role and Person of Holy Spirit, Romans 8 perhaps provides the most insight. Here are some suggestions that will stimulate your thirst for knowledge of Holy Spirit and how to live a life directed by Him.
