Elizabeth Cannon is the eighth President and Vice-Chancellor of the University of Calgary, a Geomatics Engineer, and the former Dean of the Schulich School of Engineering at the University of Calgary.

Jeff Thorburn is a skateboarder, a photographer, a writer, and the Editor of SBC Skateboard magazine. Although he has next to no connection to the University of Calgary, he has been mentioned so many times on previous episodes of the podcast that it only made sense for me to have my best friend on the second last episode of the pod.

Dave Snow is a PhD Candidate in the Department of Political Science at the University of Calgary, specializing in Canadian and comparative politics. His dissertation, entitled Failure to Reproduce, is a case study of the politics of assisted reproduction in Canada. Prior to attending the U of C, Dave completed a BA in Political Science at St. Thomas University.

Dan Medland-Marchen is the current President of the Residence Students' Association (RSA) at the University of Calgary. A former WHL player with the Kamloops Blazers and Prince George Cougars, Dan now studies Canadian History at the UofC, with hopes of becoming a teacher.

Lisa Young is the Dean and Vice-Provost of Graduate Studies at the University of Calgary. Prior to her current position, Lisa was a Professor of Political Science at the University of Calgary, with an interest in women in politics. 

My first Nursing episode! Nancy Moules is a Professor in the Faculty of Nursing at the University of Calgary. She also holds an Alberta Children’s Hospital Foundation/Research Institute Nursing Professorship in Child and Family Centred Cancer Care, and is the Editor of the Journal of Applied Hermeneutics.

Raj Sherman is a current Member of the Legislative Assembly of Alberta, representing the constituency of Edmonton-Meadowlark, the leader of the Alberta Liberal Party, as well as a part-time emergency room doctor. Vincent St. Pierre is a former University of Calgary Students' Union Faculty of Arts Representative, a former University of Calgary Board of Governors member, and the current President of the University of Calgary Liberal Club. 

Eric Termuende is the current Vice President Operations and Finance for the University of Calgary's Students' Union, and a fourth year Haskayne School of Business student, majoring in Operations Management.

April Viczko is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Drama at the University of Calgary. She holds an MFA in Theatre Design from the University of Alberta and is the President of the Board of Directors for the Associated Designers of Canada.

In 2012/13, Ilan Danjoux was a visiting professor at the University of Calgary, where he taught students about the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Though his time was brief at the University of Calgary, Ilan made good use of it, and received a Teaching Excellence Award from the Students' Union.

Two Science professors in two weeks? WTF? This week's guest is Tony Tang, an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Calgary. Tony's research interests are rooted in Computer Supported Cooperative Work, which is the study of how people work together using technology in everyday scenarios. Pretty cool, right?
