Rodney Rothman was the head writer on the Late Show with David Letterman at 24 years old. When he transitioned from talk shows and sketch comedy to film, his comedy evolved into something else. 22 Jump Street, on which he was a writer, was unlike any other TV adaptations and sequels. Bobby first met Rodney while working on an unproduced project, The Something, which Rodney wrote and was directing.
