Nepali photojournalist Narendra Shrestha is one of the winners of the 2026 World Press Photo Contest. His image, captured during the Gen Z protests in Nepal last September, which shows the Singha Durbar engulfed in flames, was selected as a joint winner in the ‘Singles’ category for the West, Central and South Asia region, alongside two other photographs.
